CINCINNATI, Ohio -- K.B. Sharp, UC's career leader in assists and minutes played, was signed by the WNBA's Indiana Fever this offseason and is currently a reserve on the second place team.

Sharp was drafted by the New York Liberty following her graduation from UC in 2003 and became the first Bearcat to make a WNBA roster. She was with the Liberty for two years before playing in Europe last season.

As of June 8, the Columbus, Ohio native was averaging 7.2 minutes per game for the 5-2 Fever. Sharp had her best game of the season against her former team, recording five points and three assists in a win over the Liberty on May 30.

A two-time All-Conference USA honoree for UC, Sharp finished her career with 623 assists, 123 more than anyone in Bearcat men's or women's history.
