CINCINNATI, Ohio -- The University of Cincinnati's 2006-07 BIG EAST men's basketball schedule will include first-time league games against Notre Dame and St. John's but only one contest with rival Louisville.

The conference released its matchup of opponents for the coming season. Playing dates are yet to be determined.

The Bearcats will face Notre Dame and St. John's, the two teams they did not play last season in the league's rotation of opponents, with both contests at Fifth Third Arena. Rotating off the UC schedule for the coming season are Connecticut and Marquette.

UC will have only one game with Louisville, also at home, and will play home-and-away series with Georgetown, Rutgers and West Virginia.

The BIG EAST will again use a 16-game league schedule in which teams will play home-and-home series against three "mirror opponents" and face 10 other teams once. Each team will not play two schools.

The Bearcats' home schedule will feature games against Georgetown, Louisville, Notre Dame, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, St. John's, Seton Hall and West Virginia. St. John's is the lone team from that group that did not reach postseason play in 2006.

The Cincinnati road schedule has trips to DePaul, Georgetown, Providence, Rutgers, USF, Syracuse, Villanova and West Virginia.

Priority season tickets are now on sale through the Athletics Development Office at 877-55-UCATS. For all other Bearcat ticket information, contact the Athletics Ticket Office at 877-CATS-TIX.
