, - Women interested in learning a little about the game of football will have the opportunity thanks to the inaugural of 's Football Clinic, which will take place on Wed., Aug. 9, at the .

From 5:30-9:00 p.m., Becky Dantonio and Jeni Thomas, the wives of UC head football coach Mark Dantonio and Athletics Director Mike Thomas, will lead an informative and fun clinic that will include sessions on offense, defense and special teams.

"It's exciting to host an inaugural event like this that is geared towards women," said Becky Dantonio. "The clinic will be fun and successful, and I hope to participate in many more to come."

The evening will include hors d'oeuvres, a cash bar, appearances by members of the UC football coaching staff and even a fashion show. Facility tours will be available and the UC Pride Shop will be open.
