CINCINNATI, Ohio---Josh Harrison, a sophomore at the University of Cincinnati, continued his impressive summer with the Cincinnati Steam, being named the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League Player of the Week. The Collegiate Baseball Freshman All-American helped the Steam to a 5-3 record for the week.

In eight games, Harrison hit .478 with one double, one triple and one home run. In addition, he had a slugging percentage of .739, scored eight runs and drove in four, while being successful on all four of his stolen base attempts.

This summer, Harrison was helped the Steam to a 22-18 record, good for third place in the league standings. He is hitting .347 in 38 games, with two doubles, two triples, one home run and 14 RBI. Harrison has also stolen 11 bases in 12 attempts. In the GLSCL statistics, Harrison ranks among the leaders in triples (T1st), total bases (2nd-50), hits (T2nd-41), batting average (5th), runs (T5th-21), slugging percentage (8th-.424), on-base percentage (8th-.421) and stolen bases (T9th). He also participated in the GLSCL All-Star Game earlier this summer.
