CINCINNATI, Ohio - Cincinnati head football coach Mark Dantonio will make several appearances on local radio and television shows in the coming days to promote the opening of 2006 football preseason camp as well as numerous other happenings within the football program.
Dantonio spoke with Jeff Piecoro on Thursday morning at 10:15 a.m. on 1530 Homer (WCKY-1530 AM). Also on Thursday, Dantonio will be paid a visit from Cincinnati Enquirer beat writer Bill Koch for a story that will run on Sunday. Cincinnati Post beat writer Trent Rosecrans will run a story on Friday.
On Sunday night, coach Dantonio will appear on Fox 19's (WXIX) Sports Wrap at 10:30 p.m., Sports of All Sorts on Channel 9 (WCPO) at 11:30 p.m. as well as The Sports Authority on Channel 12 (WKRC) during the same timeslot.
The following week, Dantonio will appear on the 2 Angry Guys talk radio show on 1530 Homer on Thursday, Aug. 10, at 8:15 a.m. Fans can hear coach Dantonio every Thursday morning at 8:15 a.m. on the 2 Angry Guys, beginning on Aug. 31.

The football program is hosting several events over the next few weeks leading up to the season opener against on Sept. 2 in Nippert Stadium. On Aug. 9, Becky Dantonio and Jeni Thomas, the wives of Mark Dantonio and Athletics Director Mike Thomas, will host a Women's Football Clinic. The team will make a trip to King's to meet with fans and sign autographs on Aug. 20. Meet the Bearcats Day is set for Aug. 27, which will feature a photo and autograph session prior to an open scrimmage.
