- The University of Cincinnati football team wrapped up its first week of activities with a single practice on Sunday afternoon. The workout marked the squad's eighth and final practice at Nippert Stadium before the much-anticipated trip to in West Harrison, Ind.

"I think it has worked out well for us to have our eight practices at Nippert Stadium," stated head coach Mark Dantonio. "Tomorrow we have a chance to start fresh at Higher Ground. I think the change will create enthusiasm and bring even more energy to the field. We will be there for 11 practices and then we will come home and begin getting ready for Eastern Kentucky Week."

The Bearcats opened the workout with loud music coming from the east sideline before it was muted in favor of the sounds of pads hitting pads. At the conclusion of practice, they were expected to pack for Monday morning's trip to the Higher Ground.

The Bearcats are expected to conduct two practices on Monday. The morning workout is slated to take place in full pads. The bulk of the evening's work take place in shells and the emphasis will be on special teams.
