WEST HARRISON, - Members of the George D. Smith Society, high-level UCATS donors, were treated to an evening with the football team on Aug. 16. Members visited the and took in the evening practice session.

The visitors toured the facility, had dinner with the team, sat in on team meetings and met with the players. UC President Dr. Nancy Zimpher and Director of Athletics Mike Thomas addressed the group, thanking them for the generous support they provide the University and the Department of Athletics.

George D. Smith Society members commit themselves to the long-term goals and ideals of Bearcats Athletics. Society member gifts benefit both annual and endowed scholarship funds and members receive first priority in seating opportunities and participate in special social events throughout the year.
