  • CINCINNATI, Ohio -- The University of Cincinnati and the NCAA have teamed up to offer free admission to all children, age 13 and under, with the purchase of one adult ticket to this Friday's River City Rivalry football game between UC and Pittsburgh.

    Take A Kid to the Game night returns for its 12th season at UC for the 8 p.m. kickoff between the Bearcats and Panthers. It is also Youth Football Night at the game, as all youth football teams receive free admission with discounts for parents and families.

    The Take A Kid to the Game program provides NCAA member institutions a national grassroots program that is easily implemented at NCAA football and men's and women's basketball games. This nationally-recognized program encourages adults to take children to collegiate athletic contests. Institutions participate by signing up online, selecting an official Take A Kid to the Game date, and offering free tickets to children fourteen and under when accompanied by a paying adult.
