CINCINNATI, Ohio -- Nineteen games against teams which appeared in postseason play last season highlight the University of Cincinnati's 2006-07 men's basketball schedule.

The Bearcats will have 13 games against teams which participated in the NCAA Tournament, six vs. schools that advanced to the Sweet 16 or beyond, and seven from last year's NIT.

UC's home schedule will feature games against Georgetown and West Virginia, both of whom reached the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament, and NIT semifinalist Louisville.

Also slated for appearances at Fifth Third Arena are North Carolina State from the Atlantic Coast Conference and BIG EAST foes Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Seton Hall, Notre Dame and St. John's.

UC will face the Fighting Irish and Red Storm for the first time in BIG EAST play as both rotate onto the Bearcats' schedule this year.

Cincinnati opens the regular season on Nov. 10 hosting the Jim Thorpe Association Basketball Classic. UC will face High Point, Howard and Tennessee-Martin in the three-day affair.
