CINCINNATI, Ohio -- The University of Cincinnati tennis team opens its fall on season on Friday by taking part in the Hampton Roads Collegiate Invitational of Virginia Beach at the Owl Creek Municipal Tennis Center.
The three-day tournament features four singles and four doubles draws of men and women. The Bearcats will have nine singles players and five doubles teams participating.
Fourth-year head Kimberly Jones welcomes back six letterwinners, including four of the top six performers from last year's team. Also back and healthy is Hannah Hinton, who has battled injuries after winning 17 matches as a freshman.
