, -- Junior forward Kenny Anaba has been named to the College Soccer News National Team of the Week after leading the men's soccer team to a pair of conference victories over the weekend.
Anaba, a third team All-BIG EAST selection in 2005, scored the game-tying goal and assisted on the game winner in a 2-1 win against Notre Dame on Sunday. He recorded a pair of assists in UC's 3-1 triumph against on Friday night at Gettler Stadium.
After eight matches, Anaba leads the squad with three assists and ranks second with two goals and seven points.
The Bearcats improved to 4-3-1 overall and 2-2-0 in BIG EAST play with the wins and will return to non-conference action this week. UC will play host to on Wednesday, Sept. 20, at 7 p.m. before welcoming BIG EAST foe on Saturday, Sept. 23, also at 7 p.m. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under.
