  • , -- The University of football coaches never had it so good. The Bearcats staff does its day-to-day work on the seventh floor of the , in the newly dedicated Stuart R. Garrison Football Suite. The Suite was dedicated in a private ceremony on Thursday, Sept. 28, in the .

    Garrison, a 1922 graduate of UC's , was an avid Bearcats football fan and supporter who "never missed a game."

    Garrison passed away in 1985, and is survived by three daughters, all of whom continue to support the Bearcats. Martha Anness, Sally Skidmore and Priscilla Haffner all were in attendance at Thursday's dedication.

    Guests were provided a tour of the by Associate Athletics Director for Development Andy Hurley. Director of Athletics Mike Thomas and head football coach Mark Dantonio spoke to the 30 guests in attendance, mostly members of the Garrison family. Dr. Fred Haffner, husband of Priscilla, spoke on behalf of the family.

    The football suite contains office space for a 16-member coaching and administrative staff. The suite also has a room dedicated to video editing and production as well as meeting rooms with audio/video capabilities.
