, -- Before the players actually take to the floor, fans of both the of and can show their true spirit as the Skyline Chili Crosstown Shootout Luncheon is back after a three-year hiatus.
This year's Luncheon will be held at the newly renovated in the heart of downtown and will take place on Monday, Dec. 11, from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
Skyline Chili and school officials worked with Reach Event Marketing, a Cincinnati-based event and marketing company, to revitalize the event that was very popular with fans both young and old.
"We are excited about the return of the Luncheon because we believe it really adds to the color and excitement of the whole Crosstown Shootout week," said Tom Allen, CVP-Marketing of Skyline Chili. "We also love the chance to showcase these exciting coaches to fans of both great universities."
The return of the Luncheon brings new fun and entertainment to what should be a great time had by all in attendance.
"We are excited to have the Luncheon back, especially at such a wonderful venue. The Luncheon enhances an already special time of year. This event truly is a testament to what a great college basketball city is," said Xavier University Athletic Director Mike Bobinski.
Tickets are currently available for $25 per person and $240 for a table of 10 (save $10). Single tickets are $30 on the day of the event and will be available at the door.
Fans purchasing either single tickets or a corporate table will enjoy the sights and sounds of college basketball with pep bands, cheerleaders, coaches and former players all taking center stage for a great luncheon served up by Skyline Chili.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit existing scholarships at both participating schools.
