UC-WVU Game Picked Up By ESPN2

CINCINNATI, Ohio -- The University of Cincinnati's Saturday football game at West Virginia has been selected for national television by ESPN2. The kickoff from Mountaineer Field will be 12 noon.

Pam Ward will call the play-by-play with Mike Gottfried, onetime head coach of the Bearcats, as analyst. Jimmy Dykes will report from the sidelines.

Cincinnati, 5-4 overall and 2-2 in BIG EAST Conference play, has won four of its last five games. The Bearcats are coming off an open week. West Virginia (7-1, 2-1), which dropped to No. 10 in both polls this week, had its 14-game winning streak snapped by Louisville on Nov. 2.

Saturday's contest will be the eighth of the Bearcats' nine games to be televised this season by one of the ESPN networks.
