CINCINNATI, Ohio -- The of cross country team finished out its season with a strong finish today, Saturday Nov. 11, at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championships in . For UC, the men's team took a 10th-place finish out of 31 teams and the women finished 11th out of 30 teams.
Junior John Dixon brought in the top Bearcat finish for the men, taking 31st place with a time of 31:59. Randy King (56th-32:34), Tommy Morgan (70th -32:51), Rick King (76th -33:01) and Taylor Garvin (81st-33:07) helped rack up the points for the men's team.
The women had Megan Knapp take home the first Bearcat finish, placing 60th with a time of 22:42. Nichole Leslie (79th -23:01), Jennifer Hannen (100th -23:22), and Tamara Masters (110th-23:32) helped bring the 11th-place finish home for the women.
