CINCINNATI, Ohio -- Tonight's Skyline Chili Crosstown Shootout Cincinnati vs. Xavier basketball game is SOLD OUT. The UC Athletics Ticket Office has no tickets remaining for sale to this contest.
Fans may find tickets available for purchase via TicketsNOW.com, a premium ticket sales service that is a partner with UC Athletics.
Two years ago Cincinnati was named the top college basketball city in the nation by The Sporting News due in large part to the intensity of the annual Skyline Chili Crosstown Shootout between the University of Cincinnati and Xavier University. This year the rivalry goes nationwide as UC and XU fans will gather in over 40 cities to watch the game on Dec. 13 on ESPNU at 7 p.m.
Thousands of UC and XU fans are expected to attend game-watching parties from coast-to-coast organized by the schools' networks of alumni chapters. In more than 40 cities (including Cincinnati), UC and XU grads and fans will congregate to watch the game together. These parties may represent the best -- or only -- chance many fans have to see the game, as ESPNU is still not carried by many cable providers, including Time Warner Cable in the Cincinnati area.
All game-watching parties are presented by the UC Alumni Association and the Xavier University National Alumni Association, in cooperation with Liberty Mutual. To find the game-watching party in your area, go to the UC Alumni Association's web site at www.alumni.uc.edu, and click on Events, or call toll free 877-4-UCALUM.
