I plead school work for keeping me from writing. Exams just finished up Friday and now it is officially winter break. Unfortunately it does not feel much like break. I am staying down in Cincy this week to work and volunteer. I have to get in hours in an acute care physical therapy setting, so I am volunteering at a couple days this week. I am heading home Friday to spend a few weeks with my family and friends.

Also keeping me busy this week is getting my Christmas shopping done and getting ready to make the trip home. All my gifts have been bought and wrapped! Now the hard part is not spoiling the surprise until Christmas. I am also excited to go to the crosstown shootout tomorrow night. I am going with a couple friends from school and we all joined The Den student section. Although Xavier has the advantage going in, I know the Bearcats will put up a fight.

On the plus side, the weather is unseasonably warm, and I love it! It is great weather to run in, and makes driving home a lot more enjoyable. Well I am off, but I'll try to keep you posted on how break is going up north in .

You know you're a distance runner if.....you are not embarrassed to show someone where your hamstring "really" hurts.

    Until tomorrow, enjoy today. Nic
