CINCINNATI (AP) -- Jamual Warren scored 15 points, including two crucial baskets in the final minutes, to help Cincinnati take a 60-52 victory over Miami on Wednesday.

The Bearcats (9-3) extended their winning streak against Miami (4-8) to nine consecutive games.

The score was tied at 52 with 2:24 remaining, but two consecutive baskets by Warren, including a dunk off his own steal, quickly gave Cincinnati a 56-52 lead.

Marcus Sikes also had 15 points and added 10 rebounds for the Bearcats.

Miami's Nathan Peavy led all scorers with 22 points and had 12 rebounds.

The RedHawks connected on three of their first four attempts from three-point range to grab an early 11-7 lead.

But Cincinnati pulled ahead 23-17 later in the half as Sikes barely beat the shot clock with a long 3-pointer to cap a 14-2 Bearcats run.

A baseline jumper by Bearcats guard Marvin Gentry beat the first-half buzzer to make the score 31-22 at halftime. Gentry finished with eight points.

Cincinnati led 37-25 early in the second half, but the RedHawks responded with a 12-0 run to tie the score at 37.

John Williamsons dunk off a pass from Warren put the Bearcats ahead 48-42, but the RedHawks again roared back taking a 52-50 lead with less than four minutes left.
