SETTING THE SCENE: The Bearcats will be back in action - after an eight-day break - when they host on Sunday, Dec. 10. The 1 p.m. game will be held at UC Clermont's Cougar Dome in . The Bearcats welcomed the extended break after playing three games in five days, including back-to-back games in the Mildred and Roger L. White Invitational at Northwestern. (3-1) will only have a day between games, playing on Friday, Dec.8 before traveling to take on the Bearcats on Sunday. The Lady Hornets have won their last three games, with their only loss coming against , 84-47, in their season opener.
STORY LINES:
w The last time these teams met UC senior Karen Twehues scored a game-high 18 points.
w is the second of three Southwestern Athletic Conference teams that UC will host this year. The Bearcats picked up a win against Arkansas-Pine Bluff, 89-65, in their home opener. UC will host Alabama A&M on Dec. 18 at Fifth Third Arena.
w The Bearcats are undefeated at home this season, posting a 4-0 record at Fifth Third, while the Lady Hornets are 0-1 when playing on the road.
w Due to 's Autumn Commencement at Fifth Third Arena on Saturday, Dec. 9, the Bearcats will have a change of venue, hit the road for a home game, and will play their first game ever at the Cougar Dome.
UC LAST TIME OUT:

w After scoring just four points in the Bearcats' 81-73 loss to , senior Treasure Humphries opened up for a career-high 25 points against the Tigers.

Twehues has hit a slight slump, only sinking one 3-point field goal in her last three games. Prior to that she had hit 12 in four games at a 52 percent clip. She ad made at least one trey in 12 consecutive games, before coming up empty against on Nov. 28. She still leads the Bearcats in 3-point field goal percentage at 41 percent.
w The Bearcats have had at least three players score in double figures in every game this season, including a game in which five UC players scored in double figures in 's 83-51 win over St. Francis ().
w Junior Emy Ogide is averaging 9.3 points a game this season, well above her career average --coming into the 2006-07 season --of 2.2 points.
