GoBEARCATS.com set for August 24 Launch
WEST HARRISON, Ind. - One day after the first full scrimmage of the preseason, Head Coach Mark Dantonio and the University of Cincinnati football team were back on the practice field for a two-a-day session.
"I am looking at our young players and seeing who has processed the information and who is ready to help us this year," Dantonio said. "We are looking at our freshman and seeing who can play right now. This is an important time for many people."
Wearing shells for the morning practice, UC was slated to be in full equipment for the nightcap.
The Bearcats have Family Day at Higher Ground Conference Center planned for Saturday. The lone practice of the day is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. Activities and dinner for the families of the UC football student-athletes and staff is scheduled for 5 p.m.
The team will enjoy a light day on Sunday before heading to Paramount's Kings Island for the afternoon. Team buses are scheduled to arrive at PKI at 12:30 p.m.
