CINCINNATI, Ohio--The University of Cincinnati has declared the Feb. 28 home game vs. Seton Hall a Ring of Red game and encourages UC fans to wear red to the 7 p.m. contest.
UC fans are asked to help create a home court advantage for the team as it seeks a victory and honors the two UC seniors who will be playing their final home game.
While Bearcat fans are encouraged to wear red at all UC games, a tradition was started in 2002 in which special games were designated for the show of exceptional support in which UC fans would ring Fifth Third Arena in red.
Cincinnati has claimed eight Ring of Red victories since its inception. Those games are listed on a plaque in Fifth Third Arena.
