CINCINNATI, Ohio-The University of Cincinnati Department of Athletics, in collaboration with Clear Channel Cincinnati and 1530 Homer, will co-brand two sections of Nippert Stadium for the upcoming 2007 football season. The 1530 HOMER FAMILY PLAN and seats in the SPORTS ANIMAL BEARCAT LAIR are on sale now and will make their debut when UC opens the season on Thursday, August 30 at 7 p.m. against Southeast Missouri State.

"We are off to a great start with our 2007 season ticket drive and this partnership with Clear Channel Cincinnati, Lance McAllister and Richard Skinner is one of many new aggressive initiatives that our marketing team will be introducing this season" says Director of Athletics Mike Thomas. "I am looking forward to seeing the families pack the 1530 HOMER FAMILY SECTIONS and our most hardcore football fans filling the SPORTS ANIMAL BEARCAT LAIR as three Top 25 teams come into Nippert Stadium this fall for a great schedule of games."

The "1530 HOMER FAMILY PLAN" features seating in a dedicated area in Nippert Stadium. Families will be able to take in each game from great seats; will be constantly entertained by cheerleaders, the UC marching band, and the BEARCAT, and have an easy path in and out of the stadium. These sections are also close to restrooms and concessions, and the pregame interactive areas in the nearby Richard E. Lindner Varsity Village.

Each plan is priced at only $199 and will include four (4) reserved tickets to each of the 2007 UC home football games, a value of $360 and a savings of $161 off the day of the game purchase price for seats in this section.

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of seats in this area will be donated to TEAM CASEY and Children's Hospital. Casey McAllister, the son of 1530 Homer afternoon drive host Lance McAllister, was diagnosed with AML leukemia in July of 2002. A bone marrow transplant saved Casey's life in June of 2003.

McAllister says that the value of this plan should make it a hot seller for the Bearcats.

"What a great way to reach out and make the connection between families and Bearcat football. This plan provides exactly what a parent is looking for...an affordable, exciting and entertaining game day experience. My family is excited to be a part of this and we're honored that Coach Kelly and UC are also giving back to Children's Hospital."

To be eligible for the 1530 HOMER FAMILY PLAN you must have at least two members of the Family as children, under the age of 18. All children under the age of 13 will receive membership into the Bearcats Kids Club, with all four members of the family receiving a limited edition UC Football Cap, courtesy of head coach Brian Kelly.

"Having our fans make a commitment to our program with the purchase of a season ticket is a great testimony to what we are building here at UC", says Kelly. "Our brand of offensive football is definitely high octane and our Bearcat defense will again be one of the top units in the nation. BIG EAST Football is some of the best in the land and we are counting the days to the opener on August 30 when we take the field with our fans filling the stands."

The first fans who will welcome Kelly's 2007 edition to the turf will be seated directly over the UC locker room in the "SPORTS ANIMAL BEARCAT LAIR". This area will mimic the Oakland Raiders' Black Hole and will be located in the North End Zone of Nippert Stadium. This section will be the least expensive season ticket in UC history and is priced $12 under the day of the game purchase price, over the course of the six-game season.

Each seat in the "SPORTS ANIMAL BEARCAT LAIR" is priced at only $60 and includes a limited edition black t-shirt which will be given to patrons at a special preseason event with the UC coaching staff at Nippert Stadium.

"I know what kind of rabid sports fans we have here in Cincinnati and I am challenging all football fans to pack the "SPORTS ANIMAL BEARCAT LAIR" this season, starting with the first game on August 30," says 1530 morning drive host Richard Skinner. "I hope that we can sell this section out early and get behind Coach Kelly and the Cats!"

Seats in the "LAIR" are the closest seats to the action anywhere in the venue, and are also conveniently located near restrooms, premium concessions and the Stadium View Café.
