CINCINNATI, Ohio -- Come Early, Be Loud, Wear Black! is the battle cry for Cincinnati Football 2007 as Head Coach Brian Kelly heads into his first full season at the helm of the Bearcats program. Cincinnati has high expectations for the 2007 season and fans can be a part of the new "CAT ATTACK" by ordering upper level season ticket plans that include a bowl ticket credit.
"This sends a clear message to people outside of our program," states UC's first-year coach. "The expectation is for Bearcats fans to enjoy the regular season as well as the college football postseason."
Cincinnati Athletics will offer the best value for a 2007 BIG EAST football season ticket, a reserved season ticket for only $182. Season tickets are available to UC Faculty and Staff at a discounted rate of $108, a discount of 41 percent off the regular reserved season ticket price.
For 2007, a $50 bowl ticket allowance is included in the base season ticket price, which would cover the full cost of a non-BCS bowl ticket. In the event that Cincinnati advances to one of the BCS games, the difference between the cost of a BCS game ticket and the $50 bowl ticket value per ticket would be billed at a later date to the patron. In the unlikely event of UC not going to a bowl game, the $50 value per ticket would be credited to the patron's season ticket purchase for the following year or could be donated to UCATS as a tax-deductible, restricted gift towards UC Football.
Kelly says supporting UC's expectations will resonate with those looking into the Bearcats.
"It is important that our program be able to show prospective bowl committees that UC has a ready, willing and able fan base who is committed to the Bearcats and who will travel with the team in the postseason. Reputations of schools which travel well, along with the obvious on-field performance of the squad, are both major factors in today's bowl climate. We need to put our best effort forward, both on the field and off," Kelly said.
All three components allow Bearcats fans' to take ownership in the football program.
