CRYSTAL RIVER, Fla.---The University of Cincinnati women's golf team wrapped up a busy stretch over Spring Break with a fourth place finish at its own spring invitational, which concluded on Saturday at the Plantation Inn Golf Course. The Bearcats ended the tournament with three players in the top-10, including a fifth place effort by Hillery Wilson.
Wilson shot a final round 79 to end at 154 and capture her fifth top-five finish of the year. She was joined in the top-10 by sophomore Marianne Erb and junior Allison Mayborg who both finish tied for ninth with scores of 157.
Florida Atlantic, behind a tournament-best round of 71 from individual medalist Praewnapa Phol-Uayporn, captured the team title by two shots over Princeton. The Owls were able to erase a two-shot deficit after round one, as first day leader Middle Tennessee State carded a final round 317.
The Bearcats will play their final home tournament of the year, co-hosting the UC/UD Invitational with Dayton April 3-4 at Hueston Woods in Oxford.
