CINCINNATI, Ohio--The University of Cincinnati will present some unique promotions this weekend as part of the Easter holiday and the Bearcats' series with Notre Dame. The three-game set gets underway tonight (April 5) at 6:30 p.m.
The festivities for the opener will feature a presentation in recognition of head coach Brian Cleary's 250th career win prior to the game. Director of Athletics Mike Thomas will be on hand to make the presentation.
On Friday, UC will welcome 16-year old Scott Davis, one of the youngest professional bull riders in the country. Scott will throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the game. It will also be Dollar Dog Night at Marge Schott Stadium, with hot dogs available at the concession stand for just $1. Game time is 6:30 p.m.
The weekend wraps up on Saturday with an Easter egg hunt for children in Marge Schott Stadium. During the game, plastic eggs will be hidden throughout the stadium concourse with great surprises awaiting youngsters including candy and other prizes from UC. First pitch for the series finale is scheduled for 1 p.m.
Tickets for each Bearcats home game are reasonably priced at $5 for adults and $3 for youth, UCATS members, seniors and UC faculty and staff.
