BOWLING GREEN, Ohio---Despite high winds and cold temperatures that drove the scores up, the University of Cincinnati women's golf team is in first place after two rounds of the Falcon Invitational, which got underway on Monday at the Stone Ridge Golf Club. Additionally, junior Hillery Wilson shares the spot on the individual leaderboard with just 18 holes to play.

The Bearcats' rounds of 339 and 349 are 25 and 35 shots above the team's average, but are still good enough for a one stroke lead in the team standings. UC's total of 688 is one shot better than a second place tie between Toledo and Marshall.

Individually, Wilson with rounds of 80 and 82, shares the number one spot with Meredith Waterston of Ohio at 162. The pair is just three shots ahead of Marshall's Amber Churchill in third. UC sophomore Marianne Erb is also in contention, trailing the front running duo by seven shots. Erb's rounds of 85 and 84 place her in a tie for fourth.

The tournament concludes on Tuesday with the final 18 holes of play getting underway at 8 a.m.
