CINCINNATI, Ohio--University of Cincinnati women's soccer players Becky Imhoff and Erin MacDonald have been named to the 2006 All-Ohio team. Imhoff was named to the second team, while MacDonald was an honorable mention selection.
Imhoff, a senior who earned All-Ohio honorable mention accolades in 2004 and 2005, led the Bearcats with four goals and eight points. She finished her career with six goals and nine assists for 21 points and started 71 of 73 matches for UC in the midfield. A Conference USA All-Freshman selection in 2003, Imhoff scored game winners against Miami (Ohio), Cleveland State, Georgetown and USF in 2006.
"It is awesome for our senior co-captain to be recognized and honored with the All-Ohio," head coach Meridy Glenn said. "With 13 Division I schools in Ohio, this is a nice statement for both her and our program."

MacDonald made an immediate impact as a freshman, scoring three goals in 18 matches, including 12 starts. The Canada native tallied her first two career goals against Cleveland State and scored again in UC's next match, a 3-1 win at DePaul.
"To be honored as a freshman says quite a lot about the presence Erin has on the field and the impact she makes against her opponents," Glenn said of MacDonald. "We look forward to seeing her mature and develop into a consistent goal-scorer for our team."
