LOUISVILLE, Ky.---Juniors Allison Mayborg and Hillery Wilson are both in the top-10 and in contention for all-conference honors after two rounds of the 2007 BIG EAST Championship. The tournament, now in the second of three days of play, is being held at the Oxmoor Country Club.

Wilson shot UC's best round of the day, a 76, to jump from 15th into a ninth place tie with a score of 154. Mayborg's second round score of 80 dropped her to eighth, just one shot ahead of her teammate. The top-10 players at the end of the tournament will earn All-BIG EAST honors for 2007.

Louisville's Cindy LaCrosse continues to hold a slim lead at the top of the leaderboard, as she is two shots in front of teammate Adrienne White and Notre Dame's Annie Brophy.

Only one team in the tournament field improved upon its first day score and unfortunately for the UC, it was Georgetown, who moved in front of the Bearcats into fourth place. The Hoyas shot a 310 on Monday, while Cincinnati slipped to a 323, four shots behind the former. Notre Dame holds the team lead by four shots over Louisville with a total score of 593.

The championship event wraps up with the first tee times beginning at 8 a.m. The first Cincinnati player will hit the course at 8:50 a.m.
