--- There is definitely a new excitement surrounding . After the Bearcats announced a sell out of the Family Plan section, UC welcomed donors to their offices to choose new football seat locations for the 2007 season.
On Thursday, June 28th, UCATS, along with the UC Athletics Ticket Office, completed its Select-A-Seat process for UCATS supporters. The nearly two week process allowed over 300 season ticket holders to choose new seat locations in historic Nippert Stadium. The process was an overwhelming success with over half of the participants visiting the Richard E. Lindner Center Athletics Ticket Office to choose a new seat location.
"The process was a great success," said Associate Athletics Director for Development Andy Hurley. "We were able to accommodate our entire base and feel as though everyone improved their seat location."
"I thought the process was great," noted UCATS supporter and season ticket holder Joel Kling. "I am very excited about the upcoming season. I was able to move my seats from around the 25 yard line to near midfield. I appreciate the opportunity to choose my seats, rather than be assigned a new location as in years past."
The Bearcats open the season on August 30th against at 7 pm. The 2007 home slate features three preseason top-25 programs in , and , as well as visits from Marshall and UConn.
