WEST HARRISON, Ind.-- After poring over video from Saturday's 80-play scrimmage, head coach Brian Kelly marched his Bearcats back to the practice fields for their final two-a-days of the 2007 preseason on Monday. Kelly appeared recharged from what he saw on tape, while the squad looked reenergized after spending the previous day at Kings Island.
"I thought we looked better today," Kelly said. "I was a little disappointed on Saturday in the manner by which we handled the scrimmage. We carried ourselves much better today."
The University of Cincinnati football team spent an additional 30 minutes of time in the video rooms and on the field at Higher Ground Retreat and Conference Center in preparation for today's practices. Kelly kept the schedule short to keep the same two-hour practice time.
"It takes time to adjust to what we are installing," commented Kelly. "The only problem is there are no do-overs at this level."
The team has one practice on the docket for Tuesday. Start time is set for 3:15 p.m.
