CINCINNATI -- University of Cincinnati junior guard/forward Shelly Bellman will miss the 2007-08 season after suffering a left leg injury.

"Shelly's injury is a huge loss for us," said first-year head coach J. Kelley Hall. "You hate to lose a player like her because she is such great player and leader. We hope for a full and speedy recovery and look forward to having her around two more years. "
