DELAWARE, OH - The University of Cincinnati men's and women's cross country teams finished second and fourth, respectively, at the 2007 All-Ohio Cross Country Championships on Friday (Oct. 5) afternoon at the Methodist Theological School.

Randy King (North Bend, OH/St. Xavier) was the men's top finisher, placing sixth in 26:03. Brad Neumann (Cincinnati, OH/Sycamore) finished 10th, while Solomon Kessio (Mosoriot, Kenya/Kosirai) and Rick King (North Bend, OH/St. Xavier) finished 21st and 23rd, respectively. The Bearcats finished behind Malone, which captured its first All-Ohio title since 1992. Malone's Ryan Kienzle was the individual champ.

Lilian Jelimo (Kapsabet, Kenya/Kapsabet Girls) and Jill Glassmeyer (Cincinnati, OH/McAuley) finished third and fourth, respectively. Jelimo crossed the line in 18:37, with Glassmeyer just a second behind at 18:38. Miami (OH) grabbed the team title, while Case Western's Ester Erb won the individual championship.

The Bearcats line up against the nation's best at the 2007 Pre-National Championships on Oct. 13 in Terre Haute, Ind.
