CINCINNATI-- The University of Cincinnati's football team's home finale vs. West Virginia has been selected for a national telecast by ESPN. Kickoff of the Nov. 17 BIG EAST Conference showdown will be 7:45 p.m.
"This is indicative of the profile we are striving for at the University of Cincinnati," stated head coach Brian Kelly. "We are proud to have ESPN choose to show our game on Saturday night in prime time. This is important for our alumni, students, and future Bearcats to know that this is a national program, reaching a national audience."
This game will be the fourth BIG EAST Conference matchup since 2004 to appear on a Saturday in prime time on ESPN. It marks the second time in as many years that Cincinnati's home finale will be broadcast by ESPN on Saturday in prime time. For a $50 non-refundable deposit, fans may reserve a postseason ticket for the upcoming bowl season. If the cost of the eventual bowl ticket is more than $50, the patron will be billed for the difference once the pricing is dictated by UC's bowl selection.
