CINCINNATI -- The Skyline Chili Women's Crosstown Shootout Presented by Cintas, which features the University of Cincinnati women's basketball team at Xavier University, will be aired live at 1 p.m. on Ohio News Network.
The game will mark the second UC contest of the season to be aired on television. The annual event, which captured the largest crowd (13,176) to ever see a regular season women's basketball game in the city of Cincinnati last year, will be played at the Cintas Center in 2007.
"Cincinnati and Xavier have an exciting rivalry in this community," said first-year head coach, J. Kelley Hall. "We are in a basketball state with deep basketball tradition and this event only helps to promote women's basketball. With last year's game selling out and this year's game being aired on ONN, it's incredible how many opportunities are available for the future of women's basketball."
Cincinnati will look to snap a three-game Xavier winning streak in this year's Women's Crosstown Shootout.
