CINCINNATI-- The University of Cincinnati, Local 12 WKRC-TV, and The CinCW, Cincinnati's Home for the BIG EAST, will produce a special edition of Bearcat Nation. The Birmingham Send-Off Show will be broadcast on Monday, Dec. 17, from Dave & Buster's at the Tri-County Mall (11775 Commons Drive, Springdale, Ohio, 45246 (513) 671-5501).
The event will run from 6-8 p.m. and is open to the public.
The No. 20-ranked Bearcats, who finished the regular season 9-3, will be on hand to sign autographs and there will be prize drawings throughout the night for autographed footballs, jerseys, and other great prizes.
Local 12 WKRC-TV will televise the last half hour of the event live, beginning at 7:30 p.m. The broadcast will be repeated at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 21 on The CinCW.
Jeff Smith and Jen Dalton will host the show, and will be joined on camera by head coach Brian Kelly, members of the Bearcats, Director of Athletics Mike Thomas, and other surprise guests.
This will be the only public event in Cincinnati for the team prior to departing for Birmingham, Ala., for the 2007 Papajohns.com Bowl, set for a 1 p.m. ET kickoff on Saturday, Dec. 22 against the University of Southern Mississippi.
