FOR STARTERS:
Cincinnati welcomes Wright State to Keating Aquatics Center for Senior Day festivites for three graduating Bearcats. Abi Bower, Allison Griffin and Elyse Perez will be recognized after the meet, as this will be their final regular-season contest. Wright State enters the meet with a combined 15-4 record for the year and winners of three of their last four duals. While UC is searching for their first win on the season, despite great individual efforts on the year.

BEARCAT BITES:
•Sophomore Josh Schneider has been dominant in short distance freestyle events this year. The queen city native has swept both the 50m and 100m freestyle events four times this season and has a team-high 15 victories.
•France native Jeremy Peter is the hottest Bearcat swimmer as of late, capturing 11 of his 13 wins within the last four meets. For his achievements against Kentucky, the team voted him Athlete of the Week.
•Sharing the award with Peter was junior Shannon McCarthy. McCarthy set three season best times (50m Back 28.03, 100m Back 59.92 and 200m Back 2:10.12), and the 200 backstroke was also a personal best.
•Seniors Abi Bower and Elyse Perez have each qualified for two BIG EAST events. Allison Griffin is just over two seconds away from capturing a 50m freestyle spot.

LAST TIME AGAINST WRIGHT STATE:
UC traveled to Dayton to swim against the Raiders of Wright State. The meet would end as a split decision as the men were topped 140-83 and the women were victorious by a score of 123-116. Current Bearcats Elinore de Jong and Jeremy Peter led the Bearcats with stellar performances. de Jong took first in the 50m free and tallied a second place finish in the 100m free. Peter won both the 200m butterfly and 400m IM to pace the Bearcats.

LAST TIME OUT:
Cincinnati fell short in their final regular sesaon road dual against the Kentucky. Despite impressive individual performances by Josh Schneider (3 wins) and Jeremy Peter (2 wins), the Bearcats dropped both meets. The Wildcats outcored the men by a margin of 142-116, while the women fell 154-116.

UP NEXT:
Cincinnati will have over two weeks to prepare until their next competiton. Conference qualifiers will travel to Nassau County, NY to take part in the 2008 BIG EAST Championships.
