HAMILTON, Ohio - The University of Cincinnati women's tennis team dropped it fourth straight match, losing to Miami University, 7-0, in a non-conference contest at the Riverside Racquet Club in Hamilton, Ohio.
The Bearcats lost all three of their doubles matches as Alizee Paradis and Jenny Rowen lost, 8-2, Elizabeth Young and Jennifer Keiner fell, 8-4, and Val Dandik and Ashley Hale were knocked off 8-4.
In singles action, UC dropped the six matches as the RedHawks captured each matchup in straight sets. Young, playing in the No. 3 spot for UC, took her match to a tie-break in the second set before falling 6-3, 7-6 (7-2).
Cincinnati (2-4, 0-3 BIG EAST) continues its seven-match road trip next weekend in Piscataway, NJ as they return to BIG EAST action at Rutgers on Sunday, Feb. 10.
