HUNTINGTON, WV - The University of Cincinnati women's tennis team lost a non-conference match-up at Marshall University, 7-0, in Huntington, W. Va.
The Bearcats lost the three doubles matches. The No. 1 pair of Jennifer Keiner and Jennifer Rowen lost 8-4, while the No. 2 and No. 3 teams of Elizabeth Young/Val Dandik and Alizee Paradis/Ashley Hale, lost 8-1 and 8-3, respectively.
In singles actions, Dandik took her No. 5 singles match three sets, losing the third frame, 10-6, in the tie break.
Cincinnati (2-6, 0-4 BIG EAST) returns to BIG EAST Conference play tomorrow, Feb. 17, in Huntington, taking on Pittsburgh in a neutral site contest at 1 p.m. at Marshall University.
