CINCINNATI - The University of Cincinnati women's tennis team suffered its seventh setback of the young season, losing to Abilene Christian, 7-0, at the Queen City Racquet and Fitness Club.
The doubles team of Jennifer Keiner and Jennifer Rowen put up a hard fought battle in the No. 1 doubles flight before dropping the match, 8-6.
In singles play, Alizee Paradis and Valeryia Dandik took each of their matches to a third-set tie break before being closed out by the Wildcats Irene Squillaci and Dina Pavlin, respectively.
The Bearcats return to the court again tomorrow afternoon at 5 p.m. vs. Bowling Green at the Queen City Racquet and Fitness Club in Sharonville, Ohio.
