CINCINNATI, Ohio - The University of Cincinnati tennis team knocked off Youngstown State Friday evening at the Queen City Racquet and Fitness Club, 7-0, to pick up its fourth win of the season.

The Bearcats took all three doubles points to open the match as Jennifer Keiner and Jennifer Rowen won the No. 1 flight, 8-6, and Elizabeth Young and Valeriya Dandik, snagged the No. 2 spot, 8-1. Ashley Hale and Abigail Mayo completed the sweep of the doubles point winning by default.

In singles play, ran the table, earning all six points, despite hard fought victories in the first two flights. Alizee Paradis and Keiner each needed tie breaks in one of their sets to pull out their wins. Paradis won the No. 1 spot 7-6 (7-2), 6-4, while Jennifer Keiner took home the No. 2 spot in three sets, 2-6, 6-2, 7-6 (13-11).

Young, Rowen and Dandik each won their singles matches in straight sets. Mayo picked up the final spot by default.

improves its record to 4-8 on the season and closes out weekend play Saturday, March 1 vs. Eastern Kentucky at the Queen City Racquet and Fitness Club at 5 p.m.
