CINCINNATI - The University of Cincinnati women's soccer team will play four of its five spring matches against schools from the state of Ohio.
UC will open its 2008 spring season - the first under new head coach Michelle Salmon - against Ohio State in Columbus on April 6.
The Bearcats then return to Gettler Stadium for consecutive matches against Western Michigan - the lone non-Ohio team UC will play - and Miami (OH) on April 11 and 20, respectively.
Salmon will get her first taste of the UC-Xavier rivalry on April 26 when the Bearcats head over to the XU Soccer Complex to take on the Musketeers.

The Bearcats return all-BIG EAST forward Erin MacDonald and nine starters from the 2007 squad which just missed out on a berth in the BIG EAST Tournament.
