CINCINNATI -- Fans of the University of Cincinnati lacrosse team are encouraged to wear pink when attending the March 30 game against Syracuse at Nippert Stadium as UC works to raise awareness for the fight against breast cancer. The Bearcats will wear pink uniforms during the game against the Orange as a way raise awareness for the disease.
Representatives from the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation will be on hand to collect donations.
Following the game, the team will hold its first Bearcat lacrosse mini-clinic and autogaph session. The 30-minute clinic - free and open to the public - is intended to familiarize fans with the game of lacrosse. The team will sign autographs following the clinic.
Admission for the 1 p.m. contest is free.
