, - The University of women's golf team completed its annual Spring Break trip to with a fourth-place finish in the UC Women's Spring Invitational at the Plantation Golf Course in Crystal River, Fla.
Freshman Bambee Dela Paz paced the Bearcats with a silver-medal performance in the Tournament, posting a team-best 221 (75-70-76) - three shots off the tournament winner Danielle Jackson from Stetson. Dela Paz's second-round 70 was the best score posted by a UC golfer this season.
Senior Allison Mayborg (233=80-74-79) and junior Marianne Erb (234=78-81-75) were the second- and third-leading scorers for UC, both finishing in the Top 20 overall. Sophomore Ashley Combs (239=83-79-77) and senior Hillery Wilson (241=81-81-79) rounded out the scoring for the Bearcats.
UC returns home this week to prepare for the UC Spring Invitational which starts Monday at the Elks Run Golf Course in .
