Cincinnati took control of play for the majority of first half, holding a 3-1 shot advantage.

UC came out in the second half and quickly tied the game in the 51st minute. Nick Weightman (Lanark, Scotland/St. Aidans) scored in front of the goalie off of a corner taken by Judson McKinney (Cuyahoga Falls, OH/Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy).

In the 74th minute Branden Stelmak (Broadview Heights, OH/Brecksville-Broadview Heights) capitalized on a run out and a well placed ball by Weightman, to score the winning goal in the match.

Cincinnati ended the match with a 14-4 advantage in shots.

Head Coach Hylton Dayes on the Bearcat victory, "We're certainly pleased with how the game ended. Dayton is a good team and when we went down a goal, we weren't really playing poorly. We needed to make a few adjustments to create a few more goal scoring chances."
