- Freshman Joe Kastelic leads the Bearcats after the first two rounds with a score of 149 at the Traditions Golf Club in Hebron, Ky., to put the University of Cincinnati men's golf team into an eighth-place tie with Villanova at 603/+27.

Kastelic, UC's top scorer yesterday, posted a 75 in the second round. Alberto Fernandez, Ryan Cahill, Kane Volsky, and Blake Tucker each posted scores of under 80, tallying 75, 77, and 79, and 75, respectively.
Kastelic rides in 14th-place individually with a two-round score of 149. Fernandez and Cahill are second and third on the team, one and three strokes behind Kastelic.
The Bearcats wrap up play at the BIG EAST Championships tomorrow at Traditions. Tee times for the championship begin at 8 a.m.

Alberto Fernandez, Ryan Cahill, and Kane Volsky each posted scores of under 75, tallying 73, 74, and 73, respectively. Junior Blake Tucker rounded out the UC scores with an 81.
