CINCINNATI - LADIES, do you want to impress your friends with some football knowledge? The third annual University of Cincinnati Women's Football 101 is your chance to increase your football intelligence, mingle with UC coaches and their wives and support a great cause.
The clinic, presented by Panera Bread, Trauth Dairy and Cincychic and hosted by Paqui Kelly, wife of head coach Brian Kelly, and Jeni Thomas, wife of Director of Athletics Mike Thomas, will take place on Thursday, June 19, from 5:30-9:30 p.m. at the Richard E. Lindner Center and Nippert Stadium. Proceeds from the event will benefit the University of Cincinnati Breast Cancer Research Foundation affiliated with the Barrett Center's clinical, educational, and research programs.
"Last year it was exciting to see all of the women from the greater Cincinnati area come together, have fun, and learn about football," Paqui Kelly said. "We should have another great group ready to learn more this year. The proceeds are going to benefit a great cause."
Members of the UC coaching staff will be on hand to lead sessions on offense, defense, special teams and the strength training. The evening will include happy hour, hors d'oeuvres, prizes, opportunity to participate in a football home game presentation and more. Facility tours will be available.
Registration is $40 per person and includes a complimentary gift pack. Registration forms can be obtained at the link above and must be returned by June 12. Walk-up registration is $50 per person. For more information, contact the UC Marketing Department at (513) 556-0838.
