Round Two Results
LAS CRUCES, N.M. - Anna Cumtell (Halmstad, Sweden) and Bambee Dela Paz (Caloocan City, Philipines/Miriam College) are tied for 33rd with identical two-round totals of 155, helping the University of Cincinnati women's golf team to a 13th-place standing after 36 holes at Price's Give 'Em Five Intercollegiate at the New Mexico State Golf Course.
Cumtell shot 75-80=155 over her first two rounds, while Dela Paz fired a 79 and 76 to pull even with her teammate on day two.
UC's 311-313=624 is four shots better than Nevada (308-320=628) and one shot behind Colorado State (309-314=623), which holds the 12th position heading into the final round.
Missouri's Julia Potter holds the top spot in the individual competition with rounds of 73 and 69 for a 142 total. Potter holds a two-shot lead over Jane Chin (70-74=144) of UC-Irvine, which holds the team lead with a two round total of 595 (293-302).
Kate Moore (Shepparton, Australia/Goulburn Grammar School) is 42nd after rounds of 76 and 81, which give her a two-round total of 157. Marianne Erb (Cincinnati, Ohio/Anderson) rebounded from an opening-round 83 with a 77 for a 160 total, which is good for 57th.
The final round gets underway on Wednesday morning at 9:45 a.m. ET.
