CINCINNATI - The University of Cincinnati's men's and women's cross country teams head to Terre Haute, Ind., to compete in the 2008 Pre-National Meet hosted by Indiana State University on Saturday, Oct. 18. The men's and women's teams look to continue their success against an multitude of nationally and regionally ranked teams.
The women's race is broken down into a blue and a white race, with the blue race beginning at 11 a.m. and the white race following at 11:35 a.m. The race is 6,000 meters and Cincinnati's women's cross country team will be running in the white race.
The men's race is also split into two races with the men's blue race kicking off at 12:10 p.m., followed by the men's white race at 12:50 p.m. The men's course is 8,000 meters and Cincinnati's men's team is running in the white race.
The site of the event is the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course at the Wabash Valley Family Sports Complex. Spectators will be charged $5.00 per person to enter the event.
