The University of Cincinnati Department of Athletics announced Monday its pregame festivities for the Thursday, October 30, 2008 USF vs. UC home football game at 7:30 p.m. in Nippert Stadium.

The Bearcats plan to BLACK OUT the USF Bulls at Nippert Stadium in a BIG EAST Conference battle. In what promises to be an exciting game, the Cincinnati Bearcats and Head Coach Brian Kelly are asking fans to show their support by WEARING BLACK when attending the game.

Several special pregame events are on tap for the USF game, including stops by the Seinfeld Campus Tour in Sigma Sigma Commons and the Allstate Tailgate Tour on University Drive.

The Seinfeld Campus Tour features a 60-foot bus full of Seinfeld memorabilia that is on a 10,000 mile trek to college campuses across the country. Included in the bus is a Seinfeld museum, video testimonial booth, interactive games, and videos featuring the Emmy Award-winning show.

The Allstate Tailgate Tour will be open from 4:30p.m. until 7 p.m. Along with free Bearcats shirts, you will be able to test your leg kicking field goals, visit the traveling College Football Legacy Museum and watch sports action from around the country under the Allstate Tent.

Bearcat Blitz, the UC Alumni Association's tailgate at the Myers Alumni Center and Sigma Sigma Commons kicks things off at 4:30 p.m. The Blitz features music, a cookout with food and beverage vendors, and cornhole. The Bearcats Family Zone on Sheakley Lawn will run from 5-7 p.m. Kids of all ages can enjoy enjoy inflatable games, music, face painting, cornhole, and participate in the new Cincinnati Kids Club Coloring Corner. Sheakley Lawn is also home to Future Bearcats Field, a mini football field that kids can practice kicking, run drills and try on jerseys and equipment from 5-7 p.m.

Season ticket holders are invited to the Bearcats Club, an exclusive pregame event in the atrium of the Richard E. Lindner Center. Fans who show their season tickets at the main entrance have the opportunity to receive a complimentary Pepsi product and light snacks (while supplies last). Season ticket holders that have not received their LAIR shirt or renewal gift, can visit the UC Athletics Ticket office Monday through Friday from 8 am to 6 pm to receive their gift.

Two hours and fifteen minutes prior to kickoff, the CATWALK will take place starting at the Kingsgate Marriott and winds its way through the Sigma Sigma commons and on to Nippert Stadium. The UC Marching Band, cheerleaders, and Bearcat will be there to help escort Coach Kelly and the Bearcats to the stadium.

The pregame fun ends a half-hour prior to kickoff so fans have plenty of time to get to their seats in Nippert Stadium to cheer the Bearcats. For tickets and information, call 1-877-CATS-TIX or log on to www.CATSTIX.com.

USF GAMEDAY INFORMATION

The BEARCAT BLITZ: (4:30-7 p.m., Sigma Sigma Commons) The UC Alumni Association plays host to pregame activities just north of Nippert Stadium at the Myers Alumni Center and Sigma Sigma Commons. The BEARCAT BLITZ starts three hours before game time and runs until 30 minutes prior to kick-off so fans can be in their seats for the start of the game. The BEARCAT BLITZ features music, a cookout with food and beverage vendors, and cornhole. Corporate and group tents can be rented prior to each game and reservations can be made by calling (513) 556-4344 or email alumni.association@uc.edu.

The CATWALK: (5:15 p.m., Sigma Sigma Commons) The CATWALK, a Cincinnati tradition started last year, begins approximately two hours and fifteen minutes prior to kick off. Starting at the Marriott Kingsgate and moving through the Sigma Sigma Commons, Coach Kelly, and the Bearcats will make their way to Nippert Stadium. The UC Marching Band, cheerleaders, and Bearcat will be there too. Grab a spot along the route to cheer the Bearcats on to victory!

BEARCATS FAMILY ZONE: (5-7 p.m., Sheakley Lawn) The BEARCATS FAMILY ZONE is always the place to start your family fun before every UC football home game. Located on Sheakley Lawn adjacent to the Richard E. Linder Center and Nippert Stadium (Gate 2 Entrance), kids of all ages can enjoy inflatable games, music, face painting, cornhole and participate in the new Kids Club Coloring Corner. The BEARCATS FAMILY ZONE is available two and a half hours prior to kick off and can be accessed from Corry Avenue, located west of Marge Schott Stadium. Be sure to bring your youngest Bearcats' fans to enjoy all of the unique pregame fun!

FUTURE BEARCATS FIELD: (5:00-7:00 pm, Sheakley Lawn) Kids can visit the Future Bearcats Field on Sheakley Lawn from 5:00-7:00 pm for each home football game. Future Bearcats Field includes a mini football field that kids can practice kicking, run drills and try on jerseys and equipment. Great way for parents to take fun photos of their children playing football!

IN GAME PRESENTATIONS: The University of Cincinnati has several special on field presentations including the introductions of the 2008-09 Men's and Women's basketball teams, a Pink Ribbon Ceremony for the 3rd Annual Women's Football 101 Clinic, halftime Bearcat Band Pep Show, etc.

POST GAME: NO FIELD ENTRY - Beginning with the 2008 season, per BIG EAST conference rules, fans will no longer be permitted to take the field following the game.
