CINCINNATI - The University of Cincinnati's baseball team has announced its schedule for the annual Red/Black World Series, head coach Brian Cleary announced on Friday, Oct. 31. The Red/Black World Series is a five-game series that will be played at Marge Schott Stadium Nov. 12-21.

The series is set to begin on Wednesday, Nov. 12, at 3 p.m., with game two scheduled to follow on Friday, Nov. 14 at 4:30 p.m. Game three is slated to begin at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 16, game four is set to start at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 20, and the series finale will be played at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 21. Times for the games are subject to change based on weather and other conditions. The games are typically seven innings in length.

Rosters and other information regarding the series will be announced at a later date.

The Bearcats open their 2009 campaign at the inaugural BIG EAST/Big Ten Challenge in the Clearwater/St. Petersburg, Fla. area. The Challenge takes place Feb. 20-22 and Cincinnati will take on Big Ten powers Michigan, Ohio State, and Purdue.
